Inverter options

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I have been using Easun power hybrid grid tie inverter with battery backup.

Recently, it failed with error code "01". I could not find the problem with it. Thinking I should be replacing it.

What are the options I have? This is 2 KW solar capacity with 24V battery. Also, the system is 230V

The Easun off-grid inverters are clones, at least according to this page. So sadly, it's hard to know what the quality is, and even what fault code 01 might mean, unless you happen to have a manual that is useful for it.

With InfiniSolar inverters, fault code 01 (as well as warning code 01) are "fan locked". So maybe it might be something simple, like a gecko stuck in the fan?

I don't know the on-grid models; hopefully others can comment.

IF you are reasonable with electronics, you might be able to find a service manual for your model, or at least one similar, which might give you more clues. Unless it's a gecko 🦎problem.
