Axpert Clone 5.5kw

Featured Replies

A friend of mine bought the clone and the settings are very limited if we compare it to other clones.

It is fitted with the 450V MPPT and the model is TSP-VM11 5.5kW

The inverter only has settings 01-14 as per the pictures below.

We are trying to get to the following settings: 01 - SBU/SUB  12 - 50V  13 - 51V  16 - CSO or OSO  26 - 55V  27 - 54V  29 - 48V

Any ideas would be appreciated.

SBU = SBU, SUB = PAL

Setting 12 doesn't seem to exist on this model, which is pretty weird. Maybe it's a fixed offset from setting 14.

Setting 14 on yours seems to be the equivalent of setting 13 on most Axperts, "back to battery" voltage.

Again, doesn't seem to exist. Maybe it doesn't even support AC charging, and just PV charges whenever PV is available.

These are your settings 05 and 06 respectively. BTW, 55 and 54 are quite close together, which is unusual. What battery type?

Setting 07 is the closest. Note: it seems to only set an alarm, not shut down the inverter. This clone seems to be worse than most, and that's saying a lot, I'm sorry to say.

Thanks a lot for the information. There is a setting 08 which is shutdown. I just did not put it on a picture as it explains itself.

Sorry I made a mistake with the normal setting 26 and 27 as I used my own setting as I use on lithium.  I did not record the settings I actually applied last week and they are for sure much wider.

He is using flooded batteries. 4 x 100Ah which do not have enough capacity for his night time load.

Yes it does use AC charging. I was trying to prevent him constantly charging and discharging the batteries during the night and wasting grid power. He seems to be using a lot more grid than his brother with similar panels and inverter. Also about the same daily consumption.

Seeing this inverter settings I was shocked as I also bought from the same seller but my settings are spot on with the non clone accept for the price.
