Second FreedomWon 10/8 installation

Featured Replies

So, this morning I discovered that having ceiling fans running in 3/4 bedrooms all night, and rolling blackouts from 6-8:30 do NOT a good combination make... System shut down when the battery hit 19% 🙄

So, now I'm thinking... do I start seriously looking at a second battery? baring in mind, I'm currently consuming grid power from about 3am (due to my battery preservation settings), and I'm fully charge (in full sun) at about 11am.

Thoughts? and is there more involved than just buying a second and connecting it (other than the balancing)?

What inverter do you use?

Freedom Won has great BMS's. Even with unbalanced batteries being connected, it will balance itself when connected together. To be on the safe side I would rather fully charge both batteries to 100% SOC individually before connecting them together, just to be on the safe side. You don't play with a R60k battery😁

Have a SunSynk 8kW.... and you're 100% right... you don't play with a R60k battery.

Did you come right?
