Not sure if I mentioned this previously, but just for the sake of thoroughness...

Since lithium ion batteries don't like sitting at 100% for too long, I generally try to get them to charge to just around 90 to 95% SoC. The way to accomplish this is to reduce the max amp charge rate. 

The sweet spot for me seems to be around 30 amps. So let's say the battery is at 45% SoC at the time of sunrise, when solar kicks in properly, if charging speed is set to 30 amps, it generally reaches around 90% by the end of the day.

So you guys can see what's best for you, so you can get your batteries to reach 100% SOC as late as possible, instead of having them reach full charge early in the day, and sitting in a strained, static state, all day.

I also set the load to get power first, over the battery. If you set the battery charging to get priority, it's basically the same thing, but you're working your battery harder. It's better to give the load priority, at least in my circumstance. Although I don't see any scenario where the giving the battery charging priority will be better, as the load will still drain the battery anyway, if it has to. Giving the load priority will allow the battery to charge with less interruption.

My most recent issue is the excess solar isn't feeding into the non essentials. And when I activate "zero export to CT", it effectively treats my non essentials, as essentials. Basically, they increase the load on the inverter.

Let's say it's night time, and there is grid power, and I switch on the stove (my stove and geysers are on non essential), instead of my stove using grid power, it drains my inverter battery. Same goes for when the geysers use power, they drain my battery.

So I had to deactivate the "zero export to CT" function. There's another thread which was opened for this exact issue, but I'm just mentioning it here as well. Hope you guys can give me a solution for this.

I'm currently in contact with Deye as well, and been doing research. Let's hope I get to the bottom of this.
