New kodak OG-7.2 solar input

Featured Replies

Good day

Ok so I recently decided to go solar
Installed Kodak 7.2 Max inverter
16 x 410w Canadian solar panels pointing North at about 30 degrees for tile roof angle
8 per string on each inverter input
Currently only have 4.8kWh battery installed
But will be going 15kWh

One issue I am getting is the panels seem to be maxing out at about 3.2kW maximum
They appear to be giving out about 50% of the listed power

Can someone advise what could cause this?

I specifically make sure that the used power to charge the battery and used beyond that is higher by fair margin above what is coming in
I know that if my required usage was only 3.2kW then the inverter would not push above that

Voltage on each string goes up to average 270-280V

When about 1.6kW per string is provided the unit sits at about 220v

The 2 strings is connected to PV1 and PV2 inputs
