I've successfully gotten the HA>MQTT>lxpbridge>SNA 5k inverter communication chain going ; now it's just diving into and understanding yaml. Below is what lxpbridge exposes. Would love to see what solarassistant gives. Sorry Zombie, I just saw your "Charge from AC upper Limit" it is set to 25% on the screenshot is that correct? Your Lover limits (20-21%) seem similar to mine. My Upper limit is 100%. How is your settings working out? What is you battery and Solar capacity?

Yeah I'm running them down to 20% overnight and then letting the grid supply load till solar can charge the batteries. Some mornings I make it and some mornings I don't (requiring a few kwh's from grid). Battery is 20kwh and panels is 10kwp.
July 7, 20232 yr Solar assistant almost gives you the same, less any adjustable settings, and mine seems to have stopped working after +-3 days, the response is only around every few minutes, whereas lxp-bridge pulls it locally so its updated within seconds.

Are these the only things that SA exposes to HA. That's quite little isn't it? Does SA still need its cloud connection to update? I tested my lxp-bridge implementation by killing the internet and it still updated my local HA without it. Lastly, my lxp-bridge also takes a few mins to update. Does anyone know if that's a setting in mosquitto or HA or lxpbridge?
October 25, 20232 yr Hi guys I'm confused. I've been running Home Assistant for almost 3 years now, and it is awesome. In every what shape and form, and over the last year it just got SO MUCH better! I have a Growatt connected to a Pi4 with Solar Assistant on it, connected to my LAN. The SA have a MQTT broker built into it. It sends info to my MQTT Server (which is my HA server). From there, I can automate certain things. For example, on the Growatt, I auto switch at 11pm to Solar/Battery/Utility mode (meaning obviously the sun is not shining at 11pm and therefor it is basically set to use battery. I will stay on S/B/U mode till 16:H30 the following day, and then HA will run a automation putting me into Solar/Utility/Battery mode (Grid with Batt backup) this then meaning I am only using grid from 16:30 tp 23:00 every day. The rest of the time I'm using battery, then solar for load and charge. Now, I am also looking at switching to Lux. If I do, can I do the same thing? I don't understand the Luxpower's "modes" for a lack of a better word.
