Not another NOOB! please help ! (Luxpower SNA, and some other questions)
Sorry for the very late reply... Did you find answers to your questions? The answer to Q3 is simple : Set "AC Charge Type" to disable. This will use solar only to charge the battery. On your App, or webpage, there is a "quick Charge" button. This enables charge from grid if you want to turn it on/off when needed, say overcast, log periods of loadshedding. Let me know if you need more help

Sorry Zombie, I just saw your "Charge from AC upper Limit" it is set to 25% on the screenshot is that correct? Your Lover limits (20-21%) seem similar to mine. My Upper limit is 100%. How is your settings working out? What is you battery and Solar capacity?

Luxpower SNA 5000 raspberrypi/mqtt
The number of readings & setting are quite alot! I guess the trick now is to be able to show those stats in graphs over time? I am sure the R899 for Solar assistant will give you that.... I am still unsure if I want to invert that money LOL

Luxpower SNA 5000 Solar Panel Recommendation
Hi there, I have been running my Luxpower Hybrid Inverter for a few months now, and am very happy. Time to add PVs! Looking at the Spec(see attachment), the minimum input Voltage of the PV's should be 120V up to 385V Max Am I correct to take the Voltage of all the panels combined and make sure it is more than 120V? If I get 5 panels of type : 545W Canadian Solar Super High Power Mono PERC HiKU 5 X 41.5V = 207.5V This is higher than the 120Vdc on the spec, so 5 panels is enough and worth it?

Moving to Solar - Which Hybrid Inverter?
WantToGoSolar replied to WantToGoSolar's topic in Starting In Solar? Feel free to introduce yourselfScorp007 also suggested Sunsynk and Deye. I am torn between the affordability and implementation time. The Sunsynk is almost twice as expensive as the LuxPower I am currently thinking of. There are many threads on the forum that leads me to believe the LuxPower is a good product. The implication of getting the Sunsynk/Deye would be to wait even longer for solar panels, Lithium batteries. My constrained Budget is a reality.
