May 30, 20224 yr Hi all, Been following "Hubble Lithium Battery AM-2 5.5kWh" thread @ special regarding the reporting Temperatures of the batteries. I have 2 x 5 kW BSL Bulls, and get simular results: As my system is just over 6 months, i looked back into history, and can see the following: The fist month or so, the temps actually looks legit, but on the 6 Jan, basically a flat line around 30 Degrees, slow declining - 'cause its getting winter here. Looking at the Solar assistant changelog, they posted an update on 17th Dec 2021, which I then proceeded to install once i got back from holiday. Since then, and with all subsequent upgrades, the temps reported are screwed up somehow. My inverter shows the battery temo as: Batteries are still original, no s/w upgrades. SS 8.8kW was upgraded after installation, but I don't think that it is material to this problem, as I have a direct cable between Batteries and RPi. The SS/Hubble/SA combination seems to suffer the same fate as my SS/BSL/SA combo. Anybody else with this?
May 30, 20224 yr Solar Assistant Battery temps for Hubble AM-2 are inaccurate. You are not the only one reporting it. There is another thread about the same issue. SA always interprets it between 28 and31 C, winter and summer.I think someone on the other thread actually mentioned that they had reported the issue to SA.
June 20, 20224 yr reported this to solar assistant myself and they asked for this feed lets see if it can be fixed
June 27, 20224 yr I've also reported the Solar-Assistant temperature issue to developers. The temperature from SA via RS232 console port does not correspond the temperature from RS485 Modbus or PbmsTools. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. Perhaps @SolarAssistant can advise.

Same experience. This seems a common issue with pace bms via rs232 to solar assistant.
