solar panels with black frame

Featured Replies

Looking to install a domestic solar system,  8kw Sunsync with 14,2 kw solar MD battery and 12 PV panels. The house is in security estate and one of their rules is that the frame of the solar panels must be dark gray, preferably matt black and not the standard aluminum colour.

We were quoted on the Axitec black premium XL HC 360watt, made in Germany but would prefer a higher wattage panels.

Can anybody help with recommendations ? Cape Town installation

thank you

Nothing stops you then from getting any panel you want, just paint the frames a mat black. It will take some manual labour, but there are enough guides on the net on the best ways to get the aluminium the colour of someone else's dictate.

Hi!

I couldn’t find any significantly higher wattage panels but rather look at the JA solar 385W panels. They have all black frames.
Bigger wattage and a better known brand than the Axitec… will also probably be cheaper as they are made in China.

Can buy them from Segen.

Let me know if you need any more help😁
