June 17, 20223 yr Hi guys, i have 5KW Deye inverter with a battery which im currently using as a backup supply for power outages. if i connect a generator on the gen port to charge the batteries during a power outage, will the inverter automatically cut the power coming the generator once the grid comes back on?

Hi. Yes that’s correct. The grid will takeover from the generator however you will have to manually switch the generator off
