I have two different strings but exactly the same angle. One is 4 x 435W Canadian panels and the other is 6x 330W JA solar panels. I noticed the Canadians are performing about 3% better early morning and late afternoon than the JA’s while the JA panels seems about 3% better from 09h00 to 15h00. Anyone else that can confirm similar findings?

are both mono/poly? what i have seen at a friends install is that early morning and late afternoon his one string get shadow even though they both same direction and angle, just where it is located there are some shadows

 

 

3% is not a lot. The difference could also be explained by your inverter having different losses based on voltage/current, or even just measuring inaccuracies.
