Nico
I have conflicting information on a Inverter and Solar installation. What kind of certification is required for electrical and panels? Should the Bank/Bond holder be notified for insurance purposes? Does this now form part of the house as it is a fixture much like the geyser? Garthvs
As far as I understand, there are no regulations for the DC side (panels and batteries) in South Africa yet, but your AC side will need to signed off by a registered electrician to ensure it complies with regulations. ___ and Nico

The PV array is DC and there's no official certification for it yet. 3. Yes. 4. Yes Nico
