July 11, 20232 yr @MightyDee That is strange. I did not. It might be related to decimal formatting. I saw something related to that in the seplos software installation guide/manual. my settings below:
July 12, 20232 yr @Neurik and @Revnge_SevnFold I tried to replicate what you guys have done, but mine did not work on pin 4 and 5. It worked on Pin 1 and 2 as well as Pin 7 and 8 which corresponds to the RS 485 rather than the CAN. The password worked well and I got write to the BMS.....except when I want to change the RS 485 protocal to WOW RS 485. I got the error "Register address does not exist. Exit code -2". Any idea what could be wrong? I get this on the screen below for any item I try to read on the left hand side.
July 12, 20232 yr This is my battery setting on the battery itself. Perhaps there is a problem with my BMS?
July 13, 20232 yr @RiaanC only way I could get software to detect the battery is with all the dip switch's down. I have two of these batteries and I'm trying to validate if the parallel communication is working, but the software will only show one battery at a time... That addressing does nothing, i have played with that it to no effect. I am not sure what the issue could be with the setting. I used pin 1,2,3 on my cable. I am thinking of just replacing these BMS's with JK BMS and adding a 16th Battey cell. Edited July 13, 20232 yr by Revnge_SevnFold

Also watch out for the N Energy batteries. I returned mine cause the batteries inside were 80 Ah instead of the advertised 100 Ah and one of the cells were leaking! Whereas the Ultra Energy cells were actually 120 Ah. I replaced the damaged BMS in the Ultra Energy with a JK BMS and linked it with Home Assistant. No issues at all.
