October 12, 20223 yr Pex Pipe Coils for a DIY Solar heater and a diverter from pool pump to run pump through the heaters during the day? Similar to rooftop solar water heaters That or Titanium Electric Heat Exchangers to literally boil your pool water slowly (or immersion heaters like this: https://www.amazon.com/Immersion-Stainless-Suspension-Submersible-Inflatable/dp/B094ZQZ49H/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=intex+pool+heater&qid=1665591298&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI2LjI4IiwicXNhIjoiNS40OCIsInFzcCI6IjQuNTAifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-8 ) Edited October 12, 20223 yr by PsyWulf
October 12, 20223 yr Author Thanks for all the info @PsyWulf I'll check it out Forgot to add our pool is 80k litres, not sure the emersion heaters will be effective unless I put in a couple of them?
October 14, 20223 yr You probably won't be superheating your pool with either method in a rapid time, also not sure how much KW excess solar you have - it's more an experiment in expending excess energy. Much like using Heatpumps you'd generally start your process days/weeks ahead to heat up a few degrees
