October 29, 20223 yr So my folks for a solar system with the Luxpower SNA5000 and ToBo batteries (LiFePO4s) The installers set the inverter to manage the batteries as Lead Acid and when I try change that to Lithium Ion, I can’t find the correct protocol setting. Anyone have any info on this brand. Google shows nothing
October 29, 20223 yr Is there no label with info on the battery? Perhaps a product number that could indicate if it's a relabeled OEM or clone? Without that info Luxpower won't be able to provide the correct protocol if one even exists for the battery. In the absence of that, Voltage control is the only method to setup the correct voltages and current limits. Who sells these batteries? Edited October 29, 20223 yr by zsde

November 3, 20223 yr If the Inverter manufacturer doesn't specify the battery as supported, then the Battery manufacturer or their sales agent need to provide that info, especially if they claim BMS Communication compatibility. Looking at this claim on the reseller website, they are obliged to provide the comms settings.
