I just red in the newspaper that Switzerland officially creates an apprenticeship for solar installer. That becomes an all new trade.

One must know that the apprenticeship is in Switzerland and Germany a well regulated and controlled institution. Not just anybody can hire and form apprendices. One must qualify by the means of a formation and trade master exam. Apprendices must attend one day per week trade school classes for the theoretical knowledge, the provincial governments must operate such trade schools for all trades. After successful final exam the government issues a certificate of competence.

Its about time. If i look at local then I see a mess, incompetence, flybynight and in general an informal and casual environment which favors the survival of the unfit.
