Growatt Proxy Programme

Featured Replies

SUBJECT:

Growatt Proxy Programme to capture data from a Growatt Shine WiFi-X module then forward the data on to the Growatt Online Server (https://server.growatt.com).

INSTALLATION:

10 x AKCOME MONO 450W SOLAR PANELS; GROWATT MIN 2500-6000TL-XH INVERTER; GROWATT SHINE WIFI-X

HELP PLEASE:

Has anyone got a Growatt Proxy Programme that will work as a proxy on a Windows 10 PC/Laptop to collect the Growatt diverted data, then forward the date on to the Growatt Online Server as normal? There seems to be an online Grott proxy programme (see link below) but I don't understand how to download, install and configure it. Are there any other proxy programmes available?

Let's assume you do get this working, you will have to modify the data elements as their software is anything but reliable.
I have the server program on my PC and also the shinephone app and when I see that my total solar production is shown as Battery charge, then I am thankful I invested in Solar Assistant to get accurate information with the correct data elements allocated to the associated data fields.
As a rudimentary overview the Growatt software will probably do, but it is nothing more than that and without insight whether the data is already sent incorrectly from the WiFi module or incorrectly allocated in the software, I much rather use a third party program that I can trust.

zsde - How did you get the server program and the shinephone app working on your PC?

The Shinephone app is on my Phone and the Dashboard Server software is on the PC. Installed the Server software and used the same credentials that were initially used on the Shinephone app.
