Posted January 9, 20232 yr Late this afternoon we were load shedding and I had the kettle on and expected to see the battery discharging as I only have 1500 watts in panels (seldom see more than 1300 watts) and it's around 17h00. It seemed the panels alone were supplying the full 2160 watt load to the kettle and house. I stepped outside and the panels were in full sun with an approaching cloud/mist wall in the perfect position to reflect a significant amount of extra light onto the house. Never seen that before but it probably happens when I'm not looking now and again.
January 9, 20232 yr I've had about 2kw on my panels (max 1750w) in similar circumstances when the most or cloud cover is just right. it's always a nice feeling getting that extra free energy
