I am considering moving to Lithiums and came across this model - is anyone using it currently that could advise on performance? thanks

It would appear that this is not a common battery in use ...and perhaps I should reconsider.  Perhaps a more general question would be if I decide on a particular brand and model, does that limit me in any future acquisition of batteries, or could one potentially mix and match similar manufacturers?

Should I just buy the max number of one battery I think I need for future use to ensure compatability?

What inverter do you have? It is possible to mix batteries as long as they use the same number of cells. But you won't be able to have communication with your inverter. 

You can't go wrong with sunsynk batteries. They are good. 

I would personally get the latest sunsynk battery on the market. That way you should be able to add the same batteries going forward

I have a Sunsynk inverter. The SSLB1 looked like a better option to me in terms of their "stackability" though since you can buy stacking brackets, as opposed to the standard wall mount.  For some reason, they don't appear to be that popular though.
