  1. @BobTheDinosaur I never managed to pull in the fan speed control. I have found though that if I set the fan speed via the remote control and I simply switch the unit on or off via HA, it retains that fan setting until a physical ac reset or change via the remote control. 🫤
  2. I noticed a negative value on my non-essential load via the Solar Assistant app. At the time, it appears that the inverter was feeding back into the grid also. Not sure how to interpret this as I have never seen it go negative before. This was yesterday, today all "normal". I'm on the latest SA beta and couldn't verify the same behavior on the actual inverter at the time. Anyone care to take a flyer?
  3. Thanks @Sidewinder, any ideas how the inverter would be reacting to the swapped CT coil? Negative values usually means feedback into the grid, but if it's swapped and negative? ...🤔
  4. Asking for a friend with a 3 phase Sunsynk: Is the CT coil L1 reversed based on the negative value (green graph)? Is it the same for the 3 phase as the single phase? TIA
  5. A friend is keen on buying SA based on the views I have on my single phase inverter, but he was asking about views available on the 3 phase unit, e.g. are there chart views for power per phase as well as a combined view, or perhaps only one of the former? Also, what is displayed on the default dashboard view? Can anyone perhaps assist with some images of their views available on SA on a 3 phase Sunsynk? TIA.

  7. @zabdab Yes, I still have the Geyserwala and am very happy with it. I have integrated it into Home Assistant and Apple iOS for control and automation also. Great Product.

  11. @TaliaB Yes, the inverter chassis is directly earthed to the main earth point in the DB. Question/s though: - Is it OK to daisy-chain the earth point from the inverter to the 1st battery, and then from that battery to the next, etc.? Or does each battery need an earth cable to the DB? - In order to tie the inverter and batteries together, would it be advisable to power everything down in order to let the induced voltages dissipate first? - Lastly, any theories on how this voltage is induced in the first place?
  12. @Beat have you grounded batteries to inverter already in other words? If so, did you daisy chain the earth from the inverter to battery, to next battery...or star topology all to DB earth point? Just wondering if the latter is best practice?
  13. @zsde Yes, it is grid tied, but no difference when isolated from the grid. There is an earth-neutral bond so essentially I wouldn't have expected a difference.
  14. @zsde Correct, between the grounding point on the inverter chassis and the grounding point on the battery chassis.
  15. As I understand it, not all batteries have chassis ground points. I have not grounded my chassis and recently decided to check for stray voltages. I measure 42V AC between my inverter and battery chassis. Has anyone else checked this and care to share their experience?
  16. I don't see the SSH option either - perhaps it is only on the 64 bit version [which I haven't gotten around to yet...]
  17. Thanks @system32 - I also see that you had to discharge to 20% and back to 100%. Do I need to make each battery in turn the "master", run it down individually, then back to 100%? Or can I run all of them collectively down to 20% and then, collectively back to 100%? When you speak about 20% and 100%, do you allow the (Sunsynk) inverter to do this, or do you need to use AGM settings? I haven't had any issues with my SOC on my first 2 Hubbles, so wondering if I just need to do this on the new one, and perhaps wasting my time with the older two which are currently in service...🤔
  18. @system32 Did you perform the upgrade yourself? I need to upgrade 2 old ones, and 1 x new one now. I have the files from Hubble, but any recommendation/tips on upgrading them? Do I need to go through all the files in sequence until I find one that doesn't give me an error? Even the brand new one? TIA
  19. @madness_za SA support came back to me and pushed the latest beta to my device - all sorted now.
