January 26, 20233 yr Hi guys. Have a Deye 12KW Hybrid connected with 4 Pylontech US3000C by CAN BMS. Inverter is not yet commissioned so we have set the solar export to a 200W limit just to see if it can export properly and test the installation. What I have seen is that IF the battery is full at 100% and I enable "Solar Sell" but capped at something under what panels are producing , it will keep sending power to the batteries and throw over voltage. BMS says send 0A and limit Voltage at 53.3 but the inverter keeps sending 1-2A until voltage gets to 53,9V and battery will throw over voltage and an alarm. If I DISABLE solar sell or if I do NOT cap it under what PV is producing , all is fine and voltage is kept at what BMS says. Anyone experienced similar problems ?
January 27, 20233 yr Author Problem occurs ONLY when Solar charging and ONLY when Solar Export is enabled and capped under the value of the solar production. So for example if I can produce 4kwh and I limit solar export to 1kw , problem will occur.
July 3, 20233 yr Hi there! I am experiencing the same problem. The charge current limit 0A is ignored at SOC 100% when limiting the max sell power. When the max power is raised to a high value so it is not limiting PV power the inverter is discharging the battery immediately (maybe because the battery voltage is overstepping the chage stop voltage at this point). I found a new firmware (June 23) (just google firmware update deye sun 12k-sg04lp3 eu selber) and gave it a try without further luck with this behaviour. So it seems that this issue is still not resolved in this firmware version (2005-1135-0609) Do you have any news on this topic?
June 2, 20251 yr having the same issue with Deye 8k and 4 pylontech UF5000 experiencing over charge on combine charge grid and solar, firmware update by deye but the issue still there, no noting solar and CT export is disabled any advice on this issue ishtiaq
