February 20, 20233 yr Good evening everyone. I have a Growatt 5kw inverter with a 4.8kwh 48v Pylontech battery and no solar. Average power consumption during loadshedding for our home is just under 400w according to the app installed on my cellphone. The battery does a 4 hour loadshedding no problems at all. I am just curious to know how long the battery would last if we get Stage 8 loadshedding of 12 to 14 hours. Would anyone be able to calculate for me with the above system I have and running at a constant 400w, how many hours should the battery last? Many thanks in advance.
February 20, 20233 yr 400W over 10hours equates to 4kWh. The battery itself will probably shut down as the 20% SOC would have been reached.
