I have a mecer 2400 and it makes our fans buzz. I think it's the modified sine wave.

Looking for a better pure sine inverter.

What do you all think of Lalela?

Both of these are Axpert clones.  The specs seem similar and they both have a PWM solar charger.

The above seems to be another unknown Axpert clone.  But this one has an MPPT solar charger.  If you never intend connecting solar panels, it is not going to matter.  If you might want to connect solar panels in future, a MPPT charger would be recommended.

All three are of unknown makes.  I cannot say you should or should not buy these.  I am simply pointing out the difference.  I myself have a clone, also brought on Takealot.  Many people on this forum have a dim view on clones.   My argument is that in a sense, just about all Axpert inverters can be referred as clones of Voltronic, a Taiwanese company.  I think there must be more than 20 clone makes out there.  Everyday I hear another name.  There are better and worse clones.  RCT, Kodak and Mecer are the more popular makes and are anything up to 70% more expensive, depending where you buy them.

Cheap clones are unlikely to have technical support.  It would appear that they are sometimes limited in the data displayed.  Some might not have a comms port or have an old generation RS232 port.  The high power components used, might be less beefy than those of a better clone.  The internal heatsinks might be slightly smaller, etc.  So I would not recommend running a cheap clone full bore at the peak rated power.  But then again, I would not even want to do that with a RCT or Kodak.

Be aware that many of these inverts, both the expensive and cheaper inverters, can have noisy fans that hardly ever switch off.

@zsde - A 3KW 24V MPPT Axpert for R 5120 ???  Not possible.  From which truck did those fall off?  That is the price from 2 years ago.  Or a scammer.    I do agree.  MUST makes a lot of inverters, I would prefer a MUST to one of these other no-name brands.

That Security and more website looks very suspect.  The page refers to a 5KVA 48V MUST but it then displays a 3KW 24V.  Mmm.

Their weblink shows 5kW but the product is 3kW. And if you check the datasheet it includes both the 3kW and 5kW.
I have spoken to them and I also spoke to one of their suppliers which happens to be Esener, a South African company. Problem is stock availability.
They are legit alright and they have recently started going into the Solar Market too. Their pricing is pretty good too.
