Setup multiplus2 with smartgen controller on 45kw generator

Featured Replies

I hope theres someone that can help me.
I have a client with a current Victron install they have a 45kw generator on site aswell.
They would like to start the generator at a certain battery percentage and let the generator charge the batteries.

The generator has a Smartgen controller installed.
Im just not sure which aux inputs I can use.
And is there a certain setting i have to change on the generator.

Another problem i have where is the best pace to connect to on the inverter?
Or will it be a better option to go to the colour control?

I would personally go for the color control GX you have various options you can program to auto start your generator-triggered by low mains voltage high demand or battery state of charge.
