Posted April 3, 20231 yr Hi All, solar beginner here. I have noticed some strange behavior on my inverter. Firstly even though I have efficient solar power, it keeps on using eskom to supplement the load. If I switch the main switch off feeding the inverter, only then will it start using 100% solar power. Second issue is my batteries never drain below 65%, how do I change this? Setup as follow: Kodak OG10 Inverter 3 x Pylontech US5000 Batteries 12 x 545w JA Solar Panels
April 3, 20231 yr Hi Battlingpilot. Begin by changing your Output source priority. Change it to SBU(Solar-Battery-Utility Then have a look at the following battery setting. Back to battery voltage and Back to grid voltage
April 3, 20231 yr Hi Battlingpilot, Please check the operation priority which is your setting point number 1 on the inverter and see if it is set on SBU. Regarding the battery discharge please check that the BMS communication between the battery and the inverter is fine, if this fine then check the battery settings on setting point 12,13,26,27.
