But if you didn't mix up version numbers and 73.78 really doesn't have the good MPPT logic, then it means that what I thought I knew about the good MPPT logic is wrong.

So you're certain that the stuck at 90 V behaviour that you saw happens in 73.78? If you mixed up 73.78 with 73.06, then that would make life much easier for me 🙂

I get some strange behaviours with FW 273.78

Ah. I was misunderstanding the 73.78 graphs. I find it hard to distinguish the colours when there are so many. I thought that the voltage and power were both shooting up at around 9am,but in fact the power was only some 300W after the jump. Not ideal, but not terrible either. 

With your 273.78 graphs, you only show the voltage, so i can't tell when the current is significant. 273.78 certainly seems to switch earlier, at about 8:15, and more consistently.

It's expected that there will be a period where the voltage is pegged at close to 90V; that's where the MPPT gets started and powers its own electronics (I think). If the current at that voltage is low, then there will be little benefit to raising the voltage, and if the voltage was raised too early, there is the risk that there might not be enough power for the electronics, and the PV might fluctuate, causing havoc with the bus voltage.

The question is when (at what panel current) to "take the voltage clamp off". My guess now is that even with what I came to think of as the "good MPPT logic", there is still some improvement to be had by patching the current threshold to be lower. Whether that minor improvement is worth the hassle of having to choose the right variant of patched firmware is debatable.

You have a fairly high power load that comes on intermittently. It seems to average higher than the PV can keep up with. So the battery is getting depleted, so the grid is helping out through some of the load peaks. That allows the battery to catch up, so the last tall load peak didn't need the grid assistance. The peaks after that were lower, so the PV was able to keep the battery voltage high enough to avoid grid assistance after that.

So to me, that seems reasonable. It would be better if the battery voltage was somewhat compensated for by the battery load (like KettleKomp™ in fully patched firmwares), so the grid would not be called upon so often.

Actually, not so bad compare with older FW versions till this moment in test.

Those Peaks camming from the Oven (it is working like this). 
Yes, FW version 73.78 is much faster than any other till this moment and looks like algorithm allows now Grid Power to help quickly in some case BUT If You look much closer will see that when Switch to SUB the PV Power goes down (loose PV Power):

In a King and King II, ECO mode is marketing speak for bypass mode (AC-in is connected to AC-out, bypassing the inefficiency of the dual conversion, but also taking away its benefits). I find  it quite confusing, and I'm definitely no King expert.

Sollar assiatnt show those options but without command avaiable. Other monitoring software don't show those options.

Today I had quite good PV performance with my System:

I guess that switching from SBU to SUB last day was due to single Inverter issues.

Hi Guys

 

I have 3 x 8KW voltacon conversal inverters parralleled together.

 

I have not had much help from the suppliers.

 

I have a NE fauly (unidentified master) and one unit will not operate.

 

Please could anyone advise?

I also have the same issue with serial numbers changing since I had the firmware updated. Did you manage to sort?

This is starting to shape up as a serious issue. Can you reply with what firmware versions you had before and after the update, please?

Can you swap a pair of paralleling boards (one belonging to the NE inverter), and see if the NE follows the paralleling board?
