Hi Folks

My latest video is on adding the solar forecasting integration into Home Assistant.

Gives home assistant a reasonably accurate assessment of the days energy production and enables it to decide as to whether to switch loads on or not based on the forecast for the day. 

I am going to cover automations using the forecast data and am working on one using the data from the EskomSePush app to switch loads off as well.

If you have any ideas for other videos that you think may be useful please let me know.

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
