June 7, 20233 yr Hi all, I got a 5KW Sunsynk inverter and 2 X 5.32 Sunsynk batteries I would just like to verify the installers settings as im also learning the in's and out's Im mainly concerned with the following: Looking at the spec sheet the nominal rating for charge/discharge is 0.5c or in other words 50a? So because i got two thats why its double right? Now will it be beneficial for the battery to just change the charge and discharge to 100a? Lastly i have seen the battery discharge at 5.3KW 5300W at some point when i was using the stored energy from the panels max discharge is 5000W according to the spec sheet, should i change it somewhere or is it good? Thanks Edited June 7, 20233 yr by VinceG
June 8, 20233 yr If everything is connected correctly then the BMS should manage your charge and discharge settings automatically. Having said that: Yes its double because you have 2 of them Typically you want to charge at less than the max so you CAN set the charge + discharge amps to less than 0.5c

You think it will be beneficial to set it to 100 and 100. Maybe extend the batteries life a bit and keep them healthy?

If you select the LiBMS menu on the inverter what do you see? No harm in reducing those values - i have mine at 120A and i have 3 batteries so the system could in theory work at 150A
