June 11, 20233 yr Good day I have an SOL-I-IS-4S mecer Hybrid 4KW pv inverter. I cant find any info on how to check my firmware. I cant find U1 where it is displayed. Is it worth while to do firmware upgrade. I am not even sure how old my unit is. Have bought it from someone that did an upgrade to bigger. Any advice will help. Thank U in advance

A quick look at the manual seems to indicate that you can't see the firmware version on the LC Display. I'd say you have to use monitoring software, such as SolarPower (note: not WatchPower, that's for Axperts, not Infinis). The inverter manual doesn't seem to show a version number, but it has to be there somewhere. There is a VFW (Version of FirmWare) command, which is what the monitoring software will use. 14 hours ago, JacoBusa said: Is it worth while to do firmware upgrade. Unless you are having a specific problem, I would not bother. Infini firmware, especially for these older models, is hard to find as well. All I have is version 01.01.

As for whether it would be worth updating if you could find one, sorry, I don't know the Infinis well enough to say. Perhaps other owners could comment.
