Sunsynk charge voltage

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I notice my Sunsynk 5kw is reporting a battery charge voltage of 52.2V (on the LiBMS communication screen). Looking at the battery parameters with PBMSTools the battery full voltage setting is set to 51.75V. This is a 15cell battery.   I notice if I change the battery full voltage setting to 51.5, the Sunsynk charge voltage drops to 52V. So to se values are definitely directly related.

What I don't understand is where the 0.4V difference comes in. Is the sunsynk making a compensation for voltage drop over the battery cables?

Please share your opinion, it would me much appreciated.
