July 29, 20233 yr I have a Mercer SOL-I-AX-8M2 (8Kva) inverter and 3 x AM-5 (5 Kwh batteries). Current batteries are configured in User mode with setting from Hubble website. The Mercer (Aexpert) Battery communications port has RS232, RS485 and CAN pins. However I am unable to establish communications between Master Battery and the inverter. Is anyone able to advise me whether there is a protocol converter available that will suport BMS communication between Hubble and Aexpert?
July 30, 20233 yr Hubble themselves make such a box; they call it a RIOT. Perhaps see the Hubble manufacturer's forum.
July 30, 20233 yr Author Thanks, I will follow the lead. It is strange that in my correspondence with Hubble (via their website) did not point me in that direction in stead the their response was:==> "... there are two types of Mecer Inverters. You have true Axpert (Voltronic) and Soli Infini Type. Yours are the latter. The SOL-I- which means it works best on USE instead of Li. Unfortunately, Cloudlink will not be necessary, because of the protocols. Unless you decide to change your Inverter. Kind Regards..."

I think they're confused by the many variations of Axpert models via the different rebrandings. It's not hard, I have to admit. I'm pretty sure that yours is a genuine Axpert Max made by Voltronic Power.
April 16, 20242 yr Is there a program such as WatchPower to control settings with a computer for the MECER : SOL-I-AX-8M2
