Mecer Axpert 3KVA - 600W MPPT

Featured Replies

HI All.

Hope everything is going well.

I have a Mecer Axpert 3KVA Inverter. Using 2 X Hubble S120 Batteries in series.

The problem is when load shedding comes the inverter continues to supply power for about 5 seconds then stops. Both input and output display 0V. Battery Logo remains and shows full. After load shedding input displays 240V, a few seconds later 240 on output and power is back.

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Regards

Something is not right. Better to use the down arrow while the grid is on. Press it a few times until it shows you the battery voltage.

You can also try to get this voltage showing and then while looking switch you grid off and see if you can spot that this reading goes down in the 5sec before it switches off.

Lastly ignore the display readings and read the battery voltage with a multimeter.

Then report back. May be your S120 are just not charged.

Hi Scorp007

Took a bit long but I managed to check.

Used a multimeter. Battery Voltage 26.9V. I kept monitoring, then turned the power off. Voltage didn't move. Stayed on the 26.9V

Thanks for helping.

Cannot explain why your inverter shuts down. At that nearly fully charged or fully charged the inverter should work up to the back to grid level as set on the inverter. That's how mine works up to my 24V setting to cut out if there was no grid.
