August 9, 20233 yr I changed my MAX CHARGE rate in SA for my pip5048mg from 80 to 60 amps and it changed just fine. (don't ask why I did this, i feel stupid enough already) I then realized that I had made a mistake and went to change it back to 80amps. keeps failing. I would just walk up and do it from the inverter itself, but it is about 1,500 miles from where I am. Any idea why this may have happened? I can change all other battery settings without issue, just not this one setting. Thanks in advance
August 9, 20233 yr Have had similar glitches when changing certain interlinked settings from within SA. Just try something. First set your grid charge current higher than your max charge current. If you are aiming for 80A, set it to that. If it accepts that, then try and set your max charge current to 80A as well. If that works, then you can set your grid charge current back to the 2A you have now.

I was able to set it LOWER, it is now 50amps 😢 I am not sure how to fix this.

October 16, 20232 yr I might have a an idea why this is. Was your batteries full at the time you tried this? I found that my battery bms changes this setting constantly.(not on sa but on the inverter itself) when the batteries are full/above 96%, the max charge current is low. Once i draw from the batteries it can go up. I dont know if this is a sa problem or if that limit is overwritten by bms. I dont have sa but found this happening on the inverter settings itself and might be what you're experiencing.
