August 17, 20232 yr There are new rules coming in for solar registration from 1 October 2023 in Cape Town. They will no longer be accepting applications for standby SSEG. All applications will be treated as grid tied, Does anyone have any other information on these changes? CoCT not that helpful.
August 17, 20232 yr I know 2 people that submitted Standby SSEG applications 3-4 weeks ago and still do not have the SSEG application no or any communication, 1 already has the inverter and battery and is worried he needs a new city-approved inverter
