    Just as an update.
730 full cycles, that is basically 2 calendar years. And I did indeed take it into operation in August 2021.
Still one of the satisfied customers. Never touched the firmware, there never was a need to.
May the next two years be as good as the first two.

Off-Grid means you not connecting to GRID at all , no changeover needed and no Incoming COCT
Your drawing is showing STANDBY SSEG with Grid support

A big thank you to @P1000 and @BritishRacingGreen for taking the time to actually look at the data logs of my batteries.
I contacted Pylontech China directly paraphrasing what the both of you mentioned and this was their response:
"A few days ago, in the communication with Segensolar, there were two cases where this situation occurred. After re-checking the log, I think that the cells have been unbalanced before the overcharge data occurs. So I changed the warranty judgment and replaced the new batteries under warranty for the customer.   We will continue to pay attention to similar cases and provide customers with warranty services."   I was then offered 2 X US2000C batteries as replacements but decided to take a credit note instead.   I think many people are correct in that to get any company in South Africa to honour a warranty is next to impossible BUT not impossible!   They rely on customers not really understanding the technology and baffling them with multipage data logs in the hope that you just give up.   Thank god for this forum and the people on it who willingly help out strangers, you literally saved me a small fortune!   It is however a long, long process (nearly 6 months!) but worth exploring every avenue before throwing in the towel.   I hope this might help some other members in their warranty claims as there does seem to be gremlins in those US2000 series batteries...   Thanks again!

Dieter, lets hold thumbs, they are “willing” to replace the bms, but it feels like “shock and awe” tactics from Hubble, blaming the customer, and then displaying goodwill gestures, but lets see, I will most certainly give feedback on this when it happens

Ask when the BMS was cleared and if you did not do it, someone else must have
Ask for a quote to fix it, maybe it is a faulty BMS or cell replacement which will be better than a new battery of R33k

Add more info on the change over switch or transfer process to prove the connection is setup as passive , the connection only switches over on grid loss
they can request site visit to check the hydrid inverter is not setup as grid tied

Depending on your layout the line drawing is done using those components

Not sure if there is a Microsoft visio plug-in you can import with these objects
I know Victron has a visio plugin that might work, but I did not cross-reference the objects

Dieter got a reaction from BTTB in Cape Town "Approved" list of Inverters Question
There are a few application types
    GRID-TIED SSEG GRID-TIED HYBRID SSEG STANDBY SSEG OFF-GRID https://www.capetown.gov.za/City-Connect/Apply/Municipal-services/Electricity/apply-for-authorisation-to-install-a-small-scale-embedded-generation-system
The 2 x Grid Tied applications must have one of the City of Cape Town approved inverters
The Standby and Off-Grid applications you cannot use any inverter on the City of Cape Town list (I know , why not, that is the process)
If you still need some power from Grid you will be Standby Segg application
If you totally off-grid and not not need any power from grid then you will be Off-grid application

I do not know any installlers in Langebaan but ...
Local electrician can add meter to db board and software changes can be done online, if you connected

Do you already have ESS assistant installed on the inverter ? Check under settings ,ESS
    Find below some online info

I see off-grid means , not using existing infrastructure, so it means the Victron Quattro is illegal in the City of Cape Town, if you use Eskom to Charge batteries

somewhere on the forum, there is a big thread about this, cannot find the thread but sent a snippet of the thread to my installer when I saw it, I need a cloud link as well , not going to pay the installer to have the battery taken off and sent to Hubble
