Luxpower SNA5000 Solar settings

Featured Replies

Hi Members

I recently had my panels installed, JA Solar 555w by 4 panels. My issue is setting up my inverter optimally for the panels. I am having a few issues:

1. I cannot seem to find the PV settings on both the Luxpower iOS app and website that lets me adjust the pv charge settings like at what SOC I would like the panels to start charging, it seems to be set to 10% by default. Each time the battery dips below full charge the inverter kicks in. I would like to set it up to start charging only at SOC 90% (screen shot attached)

2. The inverter consistently has the fan on during pv mode, even when the load is something small like 200w, is this normal or is there a setting I can adjust?

Your assistance is much appreciated

If you click on the Set icon (far right) you should have a screen like this (attached)

You should then be able to set the charge / discharge settings as you see fit based on time/Soc/voltage

For the Fan there is a menu option on the Inverter itself where you can lower the fan speed, it’s set to 70% by default but you can lower it to ease the noise
