Mdu Dube reacted to mzezman in Back up installationHi Mdu
Welcome to the forum and to not having to worry about LS 🙂 Luxpower and Dyness are decent items. Your installer seems to have taken some short cuts that will compromise the integrity of the install - as pointed out by @Antonio de Sa you need to have DC fuses between the Inverter and battery. The breakers on the right of the pic are also usually enclosed in an electricly safe box so that they are not activated by mistake or cause electric shocks to users. these 2 things need to be remedied at the very least

Mdu Dube got a reaction from Energy-Jason in Back up installationGood day all, I am new to the forum. I recently had a back up system installed, Luxpower 5kw inverter and Dyness 4.8kwh Li-ion battery. Please have a glance at my installation and let me know if any pointers/recommendations?
Thank you
