Luxpower SNA5000 Solar settings
Hi Members I recently had my panels installed, JA Solar 555w by 4 panels. My issue is setting up my inverter optimally for the panels. I am having a few issues: 1. I cannot seem to find the PV settings on both the Luxpower iOS app and website that lets me adjust the pv charge settings like at what SOC I would like the panels to start charging, it seems to be set to 10% by default. Each time the battery dips below full charge the inverter kicks in. I would like to set it up to start charging only at SOC 90% (screen shot attached) 2. The inverter consistently has the fan on during pv mode, even when the load is something small like 200w, is this normal or is there a setting I can adjust? Your assistance is much appreciated

Possible Dyness battery failure?
Hi fwm, I spoke to @Dyness they were very helpful. The power board on mine was faulty. They instructed me to take it in to Rectron. The guys there fixed it for me. The system is now back up and running again

Possible Dyness battery failure?
@mzezman thats correct I have the settings as you specified, and the set up was working fine but just seized. How did you resolve the issue with the Shoto battery?

Possible Dyness battery failure?
If I turn off the mains, the load is not powered in the house, I get a warning light on the inverter saying battery is at 0V, although all the SOC lights power up for those few seconds before turning off

Possible Dyness battery failure?
Ok thanks for the insight, when I turn off the AC, the inverter stays on but the load in the house is off. The inverter shows a reading of 0V coming from the battery although the battery lights up all SOC indicators, so the battery is not working

Possible Dyness battery failure?
Good day all, may I please have your assistance, I am currently running a Dyness A48100 and Luxpower SNA 5000 as a loadshedding solution, no PV. When switched on, the battery shows all SOC lights on for 2secs (picture) then switches off. Happens with the inverter connected or disconnected. Anyone experienced something similar? Does it point to a failure of the battery?

COC verification
Thanks very much, what are their contact details?

COC verification
Good day all, anyone know where I can verify that an installer's registration number is valid and up to date before contracting them to do an install? Thanks

Battery Discharge
Hi All, Still a newbie to these back up power systems, I am running a luxpower SNA 5000 and Dyness 4.8kwh battery. The battery seems to be in constant discharge even when the grid is on (example on the picture). When the grid is on it discharges around 50W and this jumps as expected when there is loadshedding. Is this to be expected? I would expect zero discharge and for the battery to only kick in during loadshedding.

Back up installation
Thank you very much all, and do you only get a COC after panels are installed or should it also be issued just with a back up system?

Back up installation
Good day all, I am new to the forum. I recently had a back up system installed, Luxpower 5kw inverter and Dyness 4.8kwh Li-ion battery. Please have a glance at my installation and let me know if any pointers/recommendations? Thank you
