August 18, 20187 yr Hi All Had a look at the few topics discussing Axpert 5KVA repairs already, but just asking again (since last answer was 2016)... Other than Mecer (only my LAST resort, I don't trust them after previous PC experiences), who else can I approach to repair my Axpert? I am fairly sure it's a Mosfet issue, and it is out of warranty. The current Error is 09. I just don't have the time/patience/electronic skill to do or even want to do myself. I have too much on my plate. I just want to send it in, get a quote, repair if warranted price wise and be done. Since I have a new Invertor, and some Ca/Ca batteries left - I was thinking about using this as a UPS only type system in my office (rather than waste), or to help get a friend into the solar world. I don't need it repaired, so not going to pay a fortune... My Non-Profit Organisation could also take a win if I donate it and batteries in working condition. (https://www.ben.org.za). August 19, 20187 yr I would look for a UPS repair shop in Durban. Those guys would generally know how to repair this kind of electronic equipment.
September 3, 20187 yr The specs of the components inside an axpert are so high no one would ever be able to repair it to factory specifications jk
