September 17, 20232 yr I bought a Must ups inverter MPPT, VPM 3K I do have two questions about the device during operation. 1. Charging indicator keeps flashing all the time as the device is operating in AC mode (Powered from Mains). Always Charging batteries!!!. I do have 2 Ultracell 200A batteries. 2. The device gives a short beep as the water pump starts, even when the device is in AC mode (powered from Mains).
September 18, 20232 yr Ultracell 200A batteries. Is this battery Gel type. What is your bulk and float charging voltage set at? We need more info to help you? water pump starts, What is the size of the pump motor? Maybe you are reaching the pass through limit of the inverter at startup of the pump. Like i said give us more info about inverter settings and loads connected to the Must inverter
September 18, 20232 yr Author My batteries are 2 ultracell 200a each, sealed lead acid. Inverter settings are default, except battery type changed to lead acid. Water pump is 1 HP (750watt). Beside water pump, two air fans, router and Toshiba refrigerator. Refrigerator is @ 300watt.
September 19, 20232 yr Author Does any of my fellows have a technical support # for Must Energy. I wrote to one but unfortunately no answer
September 20, 20232 yr If your fridge is running with a fan or 2 and the pump start up the start up wats will exceed the 3kw for just a brief moment but most 3kw inverters has spike wats up to 6kw so normally not an issue, if the beep is an noise issue just disable the beeps . Try setting battery type to user and setting bulk to 28v and float to 27.2 and see what the charge light does . Try Google those lead acid battery max volts as it's important to bulk charge lead acids at max volts daily to keep them healthy most lead acids can take up to 14.4v to 14.8v.
