Geyser heating in summer

Featured Replies

During last week with high summer temps I found the following.

Heat geyser with heat pump 04h-05h to 56 deg C. No switch on via Sonoff during the day. At 17h30 the temp was a great 52 deg C due to high above ceiling temp in the roof. Thus my controller would not reheat as it is waiting for 50 deg C to switch on again.

High ambient temperatures are helping even us without heat pumps yet. The problem now is cooling down from the summer heat.

Yes the heating affect is the same no matter what system. Time to remove those blankets from geysers???
