December 6, 20232 yr I had a weird issue today, poor solar production and loadshedding. Geyser comes on at 11am, drained the battery till cut off - solar production very low. Anyway I reset the inverter, geyser off - solar charged the battery but inverter did not output any power. I changed soc settings and battery shutdown %. Everything below what the current battery was at. Tried rebooting and even battery disconnect. I had to wait for eskom to come back and immediately inverter started output and lights came back.. I did a test immediately after and shut the ac supply to inverter and power remained on. Any ideas?
January 17, 20242 yr Just speculating. Any chance these loads are connected on the Smart Load output?
