Posted November 14, 20186 yr Hello! During my online search I found this forum and it seems that very experienced people regarding Voltronic products are around here. My problem: I bought an Infini 3k plus about 1 year ago and wanted to connect the device now to the grid. For that, i need the approval of my electrical grid operator. Unfortunately they declined my request because since this year it is necessary to do an automatic reactive power adjustment with function Q(U) instead of entering a fixed power factor (cos phi). I hope, that there is maybe a new software/firmware to flash which gives me the opportunity to enter the requested values of my electrical grid operator. Thanks you! Best regards, Alexander
November 23, 20186 yr Hi Alexander, and welcome to the forum. In which municipality are you? I haven't seen that requirement yet, so not sure if the Voltronics will be able to support it.
March 25, 20196 yr Q(U) sounds like austria/europe. Nowhere else on the world power companies require this needless stuff developed by local inverter manufacturers just to have a advantage with their overpriced products. Pure cronyism...
