Splitting ESCOM feed?

Featured Replies

I need some advice please.

I'm running a Luxpower SNA5000 with a SVolt 106Ah LiFePo4 battery.

On occassion the Luxpower is not powerful enough to feed the house when including the stove and geyser.

What is the best wiring to run the geyser and stove ONLY off escom.

I'm thinking the following:

  • From the mains 60A overcurrent, split to two earth leaks.
    • One for the stove and geyser with no link to the rest of the DB.
    • One for the rest of the house
  • The earth should be common throughout including the inverter?

This should work shouldn't it?

Comments welcome please.  Good or bad.
