Been using these in series for my 24v inverter. Works very well.
Only been discharged around 35-45% during loadshedding stages.

Going for larger capacity.

New these batteries are R4k each. 

What load did you power that only used 88Wh during a load shedding cycle? Is this not close to what the self power load of the inverter is during 2.5hrs.

New batteries cost only R2500 each from Geewiz.

Oh looks like abit out of touch with pricing. 

And I seem to have mistaken my calculations of depletion. Thank you @Scorp007

Depletion would be around 35-45 percent during a 6 hour power outage.. I unfortunately don't have a smart shunt to assist me with accuracy.
