January 16, 20242 yr Hallo! I hope you are all warm and extremely well nourished. Okay… Fault code 01. “Fan is locked when inverter is on” Unit is used 24/7 and it’s this fault code (plus accompanying alarm) is present most of the time. One fan works fine. The other attempts (and fails) to turn every 5 seconds or so. I’ve replaced the fan that doesn’t turn, but the same thing happens. Anybody have any experience with this one? Is it screaming out something obvious? It’s possible, but not certain, that this fault started a while ago when we tried to use an old generator to charge the batteries… I don’t know if we fried something during that unsuccessful attempt (all scorn welcome). Thanks to anybody that might know about this.

I would check the 12 V in this area, and PCB tracks to the control lines. Check for corrosion on the fan pins. Next I would check C28. R126, R127, and R122 (designators and even values may change from model to model). The value of C26 and C27 may not be as stated, and these are also suspect.
