February 7, 20242 yr I was reading some reddit posts on some solar installations, and they were talking about how they had to leave some space specifically for firefighter access to pass regulation in their state. That got me thinking... what are the laws / obvious considerations for access that I would need to consider while calculating how many panels I can fit on my roof here in SA? Space from edge of roof etc. If I can properly calculate usable roof space, I can choose the correct PV panel size to maximize coverage. Are there any links that you can share where I can do some reading?
