May 30, 20242 yr Hi My inverter recently stopped reporting both it's MPPT data, and only shows one. In Energy-Mate (and Watchpower app), the original config went offline, and was replaced by a new instance, with only PV1 being reported. No intervention on my side, just 'poof':) I can't see any way to change this from within the apps, or the PC version of Watchpower. Any ideas? I did try deleting the inverter from the app, but it was rediscovered with the same reduced reporting. Cheers Ian
June 1, 20242 yr Do both inverters now have the same serial number, with all 5s and 3s? I guess you can only see one at a time, try turning one off. The eeprom becoming erased can cause that issue. Various glitches could cause that.
June 2, 20242 yr Author 2 days later and the reverse happened - a new instance appeared, with the correct reporting of both mppts. What the heck? Ah, well, all's well that ends well:)
June 13, 20242 yr Watchpower upgraded their servers at the end of May. They put out a warning that they would be off line during this process. I suspect that they made duplicate instances of each inverter/datalogger prior to doing this, in case something went wrong. To date these two instances still exist, and the records appear to alternate randomly between them - so when one views History the records are split between the two versions of the same datalogger. I just wonder if they ever intend to consolidate the instances, but suspect that their intention is to get their upgraded App "Energy-mate" working, and phase out Watchpower
June 21, 20242 yr Hello, same issue here for my Axpert Max 7.2. Tow instances, same S/N, same DataLogger P/N, but 2 different Dvice Protocol: 2400, 2449. On one instance I can see Total and Daily PV production and Grid Consumption till May 28th, but no other values (). In another instance all values except Production/Consumption starting from May 29th.. Issue is present on WatchPower app, Energy-Mate app, SmartESS app, DessMonitor website. Does the 2400 refer to 2400 Bits Per Second RS-232? If so, what's the 2449? Edited June 22, 20242 yr by Coulomb
June 27, 20242 yr I don't know that Dess Monitor at all. It looks as though it finds two machines attached, but that they are reporting the exact same serial number. That might be confusing things. Does the reported serial number (92932219193877) match the serial number of one of the inverters (as indicated by the stickers in the side)? If so, is it the inverter that is being monitored by RS-232 or USB? I have no idea what Dess Monitor means by Protocols 2400 and 2499. I would expect this to be the result reported by the QPI command (Query Protocol Id), but that's a two digit number, 30 for all Axperts that I know of.
June 27, 20242 yr The S/N matches with inverter sticker. Inverter has internal Wi-Fi datalogger which sends data to some cloud server. DessMonitor is a web portal where to see inverter data. It shares same data with WatchPower Wi-Fi, SmartESS, Energy-Mate, and other apps. I suppose they made some mess on cloud or they remotely upgraded datalogger firmware. I don't know. Main issue I have now is PV production and output data in kWh is no more sent.

Sorry, I thought you had two inverters, and somehow it was reporting the same serial number for both. Can you check setting 28 (Output mode); it should be SNG for a SiNGle inverter. If it's PAR for PARallel, then it might try to interrogate the "other" inverters.
