Supplier tips: Canadian Solar 355W Poly PERC KuMax GEN4 panels for delivery in Somerset West

I am currently shopping around for 16 of the Gen4 Canadian Solar 355W panels, to be delivered in Somerset West.

Best price I have found so far is R2180.88 (VAT inclusive) from Solar Advice, see https://solaradvice.co.za/product/canadian-solar-355w-poly-perc-kumax-gen4-35mm-frame/ -  I am still waiting for them to get back to me re delivery costs.

Does anyone have any other supplier tips?

That's not a bad price. I recently had three modules couriered to me (Triton) and that was around R600, so you could probably expect around 1k-1.5k for delivery.

For large amounts from faraway places, I find it easier to use a freight company, eg K & H freight. Costs a fraction of a courier... but then you usually have to pay a courier to fetch it at the depot... and that may end up costing just as much.  But a good plan if you have a towbar+trailer or a bakkie.
