Axpert Max II - parallels

Featured Replies

Hi there maybe you guys can help me out. I have 2 axpert max 10kw connected in parallel, each with 8x550w panels, with 2 - 4.8kw batteries. All is connected to solar assistant ( serial connection to one inverter and serial connection to BMS ) , yesterday i finish the installation of the second inverter and works fine, but i have this issue with the batteries and solar assistant.
right now im in SUB mode, none of the inverters are using battery but solar assist says im using 500w of battery i attached pictures from yesterday afternoon. Inverter should be charging 2amp to the battery in SUB mode

any ideas? I also asked to solar assistant for help.

this is a project that im working on it, its 4 houses, 4 different grids, 4 different loads, 12x550w each house, 3x4.8 kw battery each house, im still a long way to go

One information, due to installation, battery cable lenght from Inverter 1 to bus bar, its not the same as inverter 2 ( this one is longer for like 30cm ) could this be it? is the one thing i can think of

@Tsmithf,

Sorry, I don't know these newer MAX2's, but from the days I had 2 x Infini's, should the one screen not indicate Master, and the Second Slave. I see in the one pic a M symbol (top left), assuming the other pic is from the slave, and has not symbol. So I the parallel setup 100%?.

Also, post the screen that is displayed when you click on SA battery icon, to see what the 2 batteries are doing. That may help.

Could this be from battery cables not being the same lenght?? Cause even that the inverters not showing draining battery it is draining, yesterday was a “no solar” day haha, and the batteries got to 0%, i had to reset everything and charge them with utility

and yes, the icon of master and slave is intermitent in the screen as H5 and SL, the screen is not touch, so i cant click on the battery icon
